Minecraft Live returns on Saturday, September 26, 2026. If you want to watch the next announcement without sorting through rumors first, start with the confirmed time and official stream. Mojang has promised news about its games, but the details of the next Minecraft update are still for the show to reveal. Here is what is known now, and what to check when the broadcast ends.
When is Minecraft Live September 2026?
The broadcast starts Saturday, September 26 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time, which is 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, 5:00 p.m. UTC and 7:00 p.m. in Paris. Mojang says Minecraft Live usually lasts between 30 minutes and one hour, depending on the news it has to share.
Watch through Minecraft.net/live or the official Minecraft channels on YouTube and Twitch. The Minecraft.net page is the safest place to check the final schedule and find the official stream on the day.
What has Mojang confirmed before the show?
Mojang's event page promises news about game drops, behind-the-scenes stories and guests. It also says to tune in to learn about the new Minecraft update, but has not named that update or published its feature list there. Claims about a particular mob, biome, dimension or release date should therefore be treated as speculation until an official announcement says otherwise.
Wilderness Bound is already out: Mojang dated that game drop for September 15. Its dappled forest, abandoned camps and building additions belong to the previous release, so they should not be presented as a new September 26 reveal.
Minecraft Dungeons II is also close to launch, with an official release date of September 29. It is a separate game. Its proximity to Minecraft Live makes it useful context, but Mojang has not promised a specific Dungeons II segment on the event page.
What should multiplayer players check after Minecraft Live?
Once Mojang announces the next update, look for its actual Java and Bedrock version numbers and release window. Those details matter more for joining a public server than an early feature rumor. Check your game version against the versions a server supports, then follow its current connection instructions.
When a new version is available, Beacon's version filter can help you find servers advertising it. The filter reflects reported server versions; a listing alone does not prove that every mode or plugin on that server has adopted every new feature. Check the server's own update notice before moving a long-running world or group.
